I recently bought 3 Rakes and a PNP Putter. Oh my GOD!
I have to tell you the only reason I bought them was because of what I read about them being good on tight lies. I play at he Royal Port Moresby Golf Club in PNG and Port Moresby has been suffering for a few years now with the lack of rain. The course has an old irrigation system so we rely on rain, and there’s been little.
I bought the putter on a whim.
Long story I know, but I took the Gap and Sand wedges out last Sunday. Those little suckers just slice through the ground. My old wedges bounce off the dirt sometimes resulting in a skull or a duff. Not these baby’s. Straight through. So I’ve got so much more confidence in the Gap knowing that I’m going to hit through the shot.
There is grass on the course too (it’s actually a great course) and the SW has got such a nice grab on the ball, I’ve even got the ball to backspin and check a few times.
But the Putter ! It’s amazing. I played 14 holes (started late) and had 18 puts. The shortest put was a tap in but the majority were over 3 feet and the longest was over 20 feet. It’s weighted beautifully (I put two 62 g in the front with a 42 in the back) as it felt more balanced to me. It just drops on the ball and holds its line. I’m hoping the magic dust doesn’t rub off too soon.
Anyway, I just wanted to give you some feedback.
I may end up being your PNG Agent once I start to score in the Comps and everyone starts asking me what’s my secret 🙂
Really happy, and thanks also for the extra goodies. That was a nice touch and not expected. Thanks

I’ve been playing golf for around 30 years, but have only bothered with a handicap and playing club competition golf in the last 10 years.

Our RAKE Wedges have been getting a lot of attention by golf publications recently.
The wedges have been given a great review from Colorado Avid Golfer, the state’s most trusted golf, lifestyle and travel information resource .
