The other day, Paul Donaghue, the founder and director of PNP Golf came across the below email from back in the very early stages of PNP Golf. It was from Glen Coombe, a renowned US putting guru, author and a certified level 3 SAM PuttLab Instructor regarding the SX1 Point-N-Putt Putter:
From: Glen Coombe <xxxx@xxxx.net> |
It's important to note that this initial feedback backed up Paul's theory and research that it was more accurate to point the club face than trying to square it. The key being that for an easier and more definitive focus, the directional pointer is removed from the putter face. This results in the face being 90 degrees to the putting direction.
The above was the first piece of feedback received from an official independent comparative testing of our SX1 Point-N-Putt putter for alignment. This was the ultimate alignment test as it was a comparison by first time users of our putter against their own putters. The final testing included 99 golfers, consisting of 33 from the US, 33 from Sweden, and 33 from Australia. The resulting SAM PuttLab data displayed an average alignment improvement across all 99 players of 16.5 percent.
We encourage you to view the SX1 Point-N-Putt Putter, as we believe it can help just about anyone with their short game. And as a current special (for February and March), we're also giving away a Quik-N-Ezy Golf Bag Rain Guard and our famous Aluminium Divot Repair Tool and Magnetic Ball Marker with the purchase of any single club. Should you purchase two or more clubs you'll also receive a 100% Cabretta Leather Golf Glove and Magnetic Ball Marker free!
We're very happy that most of our sales come from word of mouth. After all there's no better validation that your clubs work than confirmation from players out there using them. And so with that we make the humble request that should you feel inclined, to please spread the word to any of your friends or colleagues who you believe may benefit from the SX1 Point-N-Putt Putter. We would be forever grateful.
[UPDATE: 04 April 2019]
In the April edition of Inside Golf magazine (available nationwide) we ran a feature that goes into a little more detail regarding the above story, as well as features some player reviews. You can view the piece below:
